Any interesting topics for a research . .. like Stereotypes?

Hello everyone,





I need some interesting research topics that are suitable for and argumentative assay.





I've looked here for similer questions like mine, but didn't like any of the suggested topics. Because I'm actually interested in politics and such.





I've written a research paper about media and it's effects of people's minds (stereotypes).





I'd like to have another interesting one that is research-able.





** I'm a first-year college student and I'm studying English as a second language.

Well , one that is controversial is plastic surgery. I'm not sure if you would like that topic but it's pretty argumentable. Because even if people say negative about that kind of stuff, when you think about it most people base society on appearance. So it kind of makes you wonder what really is right, being who you are, or changing your looks to persuade someone else. So its kind of like asking yourself, Would you take the path of advantage or stay truthful to yourself?


I dunno, I'm still in HS so that's as much as I can get.
