Psychology topics for research paper?

I have to write a 15 page research paper of a certain area i choose, and my favorite subject is psychology.

The topic needs to be narrow enough to fit into 15 pages, but large enough to talk about for awhile.

if you have any ideas, please help!

thanks!

Psychology topics for research paper?
Here's an interesting article in a Russian newspaper, titled:

"Horror movies make humans stress-resistant and improve their health"

http://english.pravda.ru/science/health/...

I think why some people love horror movies, and other people find no need for them, or loath them, is fascinating, and I think it's connected to the extent of phobias that those people have.
Reply:I wrote a paper on Behavior Modification for a college English class... and I got an A! :)
Reply:Here are some suggestions.

The Id, ego, and super ego.

The variations between Freud and Jung

Freud and his patients

Phobias

Deviant behavior

Criminal behavior

or you could write on any number of disorders such as bi-polar, schizophrenia, PTSD, etc...

or you could write on various types of therapies used by psychologists and psychiatrists such as cognative-behaviorilst, Existential, Psychoanalytic, etc...
Reply:talk about euthanasia. make a research and you will learn a lot.
Reply:Okay I am in Criminal Justice/Law, I have been a guest lecture speaker at my school and have done alot of longitudinal research on serial offenders so here are my topics that I deem to be very easy if you know how to interpret the material.

Manchausen syndrome or Man. syn bi-proxy

Serial Sexual Sadist and the compliant victim

Biopsychosocial model (in other words, we are predisposed to violence through genes etc...)

Paraphilia's (FUN FUN FUN)

Feral Children (the story of Genie, very bizarre, but its a catch for a professor's eye)

Basically go online enter abnormal psychology, also remember the DSM IV is full of disorders

Enjoy, this is alot of fun if you "get it"

By the way, you could discuss sociological theories, like "classic conditioning", nature v nurture. Also there is a Holmes Typology on serial killers, you can find alot

You can also enter "the psychopathy checklist", Dr. Hare, he has amazing books and testing theories on deviants. In order to discuss devaincy and criminal behavior to its fullest degree, no the subject matter and be able to differiante between the 2 there is a differance
