i want to write about something pertaining to medicine..healthcare but if there are any other good ideas..i wud love to hear them

You can write about Schizophrenia. Other countries have a fairly quick recovery rate for schizophrenia while in the U.S. schizophrenia is a life long illness.





You could also do how the lack of cultural competence in health care settings leads to many people not being able to or wanting to acess health care.


This is especially true in the Native American community.





You could write about the overdiagnosis of ADHD.


I mean it's normal for kids to want to run around. And if you consider that the brain becomes less active/able to learn after 20 minutes of sitting well that explains their inability to concetrate and need to move around after sitting in a classroom for way longer than 20 minute intervals.
Reply:You could write about how teens are abusing cold medication and why a person can't buy it off the shelf anymore.

Reply:I've seen speeches about wearing helmets while on motorcycles that were really good. I bet one on seat belts or helmets would be just as good. my city is getting ready to put to vote wither or not motorcyclist will be required to wear helmets. look and see what is going on in your community, and write about that. If it touches the listeners on a personal bases, it will be good.
