I need to come up with a research based topic for my college class?

I was thinking about something to do with serial killers, or something that has to do with that. or would dreams be a good research topic??? I need help, this is my first ever research paper that I ever wrote. What are some good research topics that I could write about that have lots of information??? I like reading about true crimes, and watching court tv, if any of these things help??

I would suggest a paper proving that prohibition actually gave rise to crime (e.g. organized crime) rather than protecting society as it was intended.
Reply:Dreams might be a good one, but you have to be careful as most of the "research" you'll find is subjective.





If you do serial killers, there is an abundance of information available. Academic studies, interviews, books, articles, websites, etc. Look at 1 or 2 specific aspects of them, though as just "serial killers" would be too broad. Maybe their educational backgrounds and if there's anything out there that shows a link between education %26amp; the serial killer mindset?
Reply:It would help to know what class you were writing it for? You would have a different topic for a history class as opposed to a sports medicine class for example.
