How will the deluge of un-usable TVs impact our enviroment, will hundreds of devices containg heavy metals and other dangersou componets overwhelm our abilty to safely recycle them, will there be a market to send the TVs to Mexico or So. America, where analog tramssions may continue.
How will the elderly be impacted. Will they lose their only contact with the outside world, will they be scammed to buy analogue-to digital converts and un-needed parts. Will they be sold over priced cable services. How will thye get money to buy a digital TV.
What will the abiility of the broadcasters, to send 4 diffenernt prorams, on teh same channel mean, ( they are like sub-schannels). more choices, more minority or targetted group braodcasting. less competiton in a TV market.
