Interesting research paper topics?

I need to find a topic to research for my World History class. Some examples our teacher gave us were:


Terrorism, Human Right Abuses, and AIDS in Africa





It can be about anything that is happening in the world right now (not just U.S. involvement)





I'm interested in sports, technology, and science, if that helps.

Reply:Have you considered the effects of steroid use and/or "performance enhancing compounds" in sports? Why does the Olympics test for them? How does their use effect performance? What are the long term effects for the user? Why should it be banned?





You will need to do science research to look at the actual steroids/compounds to see what they are doing in the body.
