Hi, I would love to do a personal research on diverse topics, such as teen pregnancy, diversity of the country and so on... But I need a site with accurate stats on loads of topics... I hope someone can help.. Thanks in advance

They've got tons of different statistics on tons of countries; you can compare, rank, look at individual nations if you're only looking for info on a certain country...





For credibility, check out their "About" portion of the site. Includes:


"NationMaster acknowledged by Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade as one of their Internet Gems." and lots of reviews from reasonably to highly credible sources.





I've used the site quite often to get all sorts of info.
Reply:I'm presuming you're in the USA? If you're in Australia check out the Australian Bureau of Statistics web site. It's got everything you can think of. In particular check out 2006 census data.

Reply:Sometimes the best research you can find is your own field research. If you want to research teen pregnancy, contact a local pregnancy center and interview them. This takes a bit more time and effort, but the results are most definitely worth while. Just google search places in your area, or look in your phone book.
