Can somebody help me find a research paper topic?

I have to submit a research topic for my University (Eng 105)


The only idea I have is about music piracy n i know thats totally lame. Can somebody give me some interesting topics to research on?

Your idea isn't that lame - maybe you just need to focus on the why and what would change the behaviour? Would lower CD prices reduce piracy, has technology made it inevitable, the human rights issue of PCs having anti-piracy chips (like DVD recorders have) etc.





Go with your instinct, you obviously have an interest in the subject and that is worth a lot. This subject will also be easy to get info on from the big companies like Sony as I am sure they are keen to spread their message.





Make sure you get a pro/con spread though - lurk in the piracy chat rooms and get the genuine opinions. Pirates are folks like you and me.
