Research topics must be related to media because iam a student of mass communication in one of the universities in kampala- uganda planning to develop my research proposal
Assist me with some research topics related to media industry in Uganda?
Here are a few ideas:
-compare the media coverage of the monitor vs. the new vision. How does being a government newspaper affect the content of the new vision?
- Evaluate the use of media in addressing HIV/AIDS in Uganda. Which forms of media have been used, which have been most successful and why (eg. radio vs. TV vs. newspaper, vs. billboards)
- Evaluate the extent to which journalists have freedom of expression and freedom of the press in Uganda.
- Take a certain issue (eg. HIV/AIDS or UPE or PEAP) and investigate how media coverage of that issue has changed over time.
Those are just a few ideas. There are literally hundreds of topics you could pursue, just use your creativity, imagination, and knowledge. Good luck!
