Global History Research Paper Topics?

I have to extensively research a topic for my global history class. It must be non-western (i.e. Asia, Africa, etc.) and I assume fairly current because I need 4 different types of sources. It can be anything at all but I must create a list of possible topics for my teacher. So far I have considered child labor in India and China's one-child policy as possible options. Any suggestions on interesting and easy to research topics would be greatly appreciated!
