What do you do when you have 24 hrs to develop a research topic?

I have 24 hrs to develop a research topic and I am just stuck. I can not seem to come up with one! Ideas???

What do you do when you have 24 hrs to develop a research topic?
Think of a research you are familiar with. So that you can discuss your research topic based on your stocked knowledge. :)
Reply:Can you narrow it down a bit?

Carry out a geographic survey of MOT failures maybe correlate that against another factor such as average house price for each area or average income.

Carry out a study of gender bias regarding likelihood of participation in a market research study.

Study hat wearing amongst the population, relate this to other factors, age, gender, social status etc...

A survey of shoe sizes.

Examine historical records of birth weight, relate this data to historical records regarding the price and availability of food, e.g. the price of a loaf of bread.

Survey the pH of soil over the county.

There are numerous topics.

Do you have a brief of what kind of research?

Reply:How does imposing a time limit effect someone's ability to think creatively? Does a short amount of time stiffle or encourage their ability to think?
