What are some good political research topics?
Well, it would help if you told us what level of class you're taking -- topics for a high school class would get laughed at by a college professor, and topics for a college class would be beyond all but the brightest high school students.
That being said, one idea might be to pick a case before the courts and discuss your opinions on it. Research both sides. When I took a political science class in college, I got a top grade on a paper doing just that.
